Glowlight Tetra Hemigrammus erythrozonus

This popular and brightly colored tetra from Guyana is a hardy addition for most community tanks. Small and slender, this metallic silver fish sports an iridescent orange stripe down the length of its body that really seems to glow. Maxing out at about an inch and a half, this tetra will work well in smaller aquariums (and larger ones too!); they will thrive in slightly acidic water in groups of at least six. To really see their colors pop, keep them with live aquatic plants!
