Description

*All fish change when they age, and kois change far more frequently* Think Tank Lanie Shipping: I ship via USPS 2-3 day priority mail, and only ship on Mondays. You must order by Sunday at midnight central time to ship out the following Monday, all orders after this time will be shipped out the Monday after. I ship with heat pads as needed starting in November. If you need one sooner please message with the request. I am willing to ship via express one day shipping, upon request and with you covering the delivery via paypal. PLEASE REMEMBER BETTAS LOSE COLOR WHEN STRESSED YOUR FISH SHIPPED WILL LOOK FADED FROM PHOTOS FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS. Please look up or ask me how to properly acclimate fish to get color back the quickest. DOA policy: Due to the delays on the post office DOA’s will be voided after 5 days with USPS after shipping. Ex: I ship mondays, after Friday the DOA will be voided. DOA’s MUST be reported within 2 hours of USPS drop off, IN THE SEALED DELIVERY BAG with picture proof. No exceptions, I provide tracking numbers, it is your responsibility to be there within 2 hours of delivery to check, along with your responsibility to order when your weather is okay for shipping. I will provide heat pads starting in November as needed or on request. Refunds: Refunds only on DOA with proof and actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. (15 dollars flat rate, plus 3 extra dollars per extra fish shipped) Betta Care: Betta fish are living creatures like every other creature on this Earth. I reserve the right to not sell to you if I feel you will not treat the fish well, or have seen evidence of you mistreating animals. Betta tank size is debated widely among keepers but the one thing we agree on is they need a tank, not a bowl. In my opinion, betta females need at least a 2.5 gallon, and males need at least a 5 gallon, as they are more active and bigger and tend to chew their own tails when bored. Bettas enjoy a variety of food, and need a heater if you don't live in a climate controlled house CONSISTENTLY averaging around 78 degrees. Filters do help, though are technically not needed, as long as you keep up with consistent water changes. Water changes consist of vacuuming gravel, and doing around a 25% water change every week with no filter, or at least every other week with a filter. Contacting Me: This is my weekday job, my hours “off” are 9 pm Monday-10 am central Tuesday along with 5 pm Thursday- 11 am Friday, otherwise I should get back to you on offers or questions within 2 hours, unless an emergency happens. I am also unavailable on weekends. Weekend concerns will be answered when I can or the following Monday morning. Feel free to contact me with any questions concerning a purchase OR betta fish care in general! My instagram has updates on fry batches along with how I care for my fish, and sometimes… coupons and giveaways! Contact Information: Instagram: @thinktanklanie Email: thinktanklanie@gmail.com Our Goal: Think Tank Lanie is a small business run by a girl who found her passion between science and animals fulfilled by this lovely hobby. As a lifelong animal lover it is my goal to breed spectacular good genetic fish, and find good homes for as many of them as possible, educating people along the way about the personalities and fun that can come with a fish tank when properly cared for. Fish are living animals, NOT decorations!
