Gold Gourami Trichopodus trichopterus

A bright gold color-morph of the three spot gourami, these fish sport a bright golden color with faint barring along the back. Hardy and personable, these fish are known for their unique and individual personalities, making them real aquarium 'pets' suitable for even the beginner aquarist. Known to become a bit quarrelsome with maturity, they are best kept with fish of a similar size. They will thrive best in planted aquariums with neutral to slightly acidic,slow-moving water
