Blue Gourami Trichopodus trichopterus

A blue color-morph of the three spot gourami, these fish sport a pale blue color with two dark black spots that harken back to their parent stock. Hardy and personable, these fish are known for their unique and individual personalities, making them real aquarium 'pets' suitable for even the beginner aquarist. Known to become a bit quarrelsome with maturity, they are best kept with fish of a similar size. They will thrive best in planted aquariums with neutral to slightly acidic,slow-moving water
