African Moony Mono sebae
The Mono Sebae, or 'African Moony' comes from the estuaries and mangroves of the waters of West Africa. It is diamond shaped with a larger anal fin than the more commonly-seen Mono argenetus. The Mono Sebae is silver with a black line covering the eyes and a line from the tip of the dorsal fin to the tip of the anal fin. The Mono Sebae grows very large and requires a large-scale aquarium to house adult specimens. Young fish can be kept in freshwater, but as they grow and mature, the water should gradually be converted to a higher salinity and alkalinity. You are bidding on a subadult specimen of about 2".
