Description

COLD WEATHER SHIPPING NOTICE. Due to the weather, please note that shipping may be delayed. I will ship ASAP, weather permitting. If I am unable to ship within 8 days of closing an auction DUE TO WEATHER COMPLICATIONS, I will terminate the sale and provide you with a refund! Also, I will only ship medium or regional priority shipping during cold weather so that I can insulate the box. Heat packs are mandatory between December to February. PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR SHIPPING COST AND BOX FEES BEFORE BIDDING! ------------------------------------------ Grindal Worms can be hard to ship, so bid at your own risk. Expect the adults to die in transit. What WILL survive are the eggs and larva. For that reason, you will receive a 16-oz cup packed with a thriving culture of worms. This will also help insulate them against the elements. ------------- Care: I feed mine cat food daily, about 3-4 pieces for a mature culture. This culture does contain cereal mites, which co-exist alongside the grindal worms without an issue. My fish eat both. Some people don't like them, so I want to be upfront about that first. --------- When your culture arrives, the challenge will be combating mold outbreaks between feedings until your culture recovers its numbers from shipping. I would suggest HALF of a piece of kibble per day until your numbers recover. Remove all uneaten food daily and stir the soil around. I use coco-fiber as my substrate. ---------------- Shipping is done via USPS 2-3 day Priority shipping. Estimated shipping costs are $16-$23 depending on quantity of fish/plants purchased and if heat/cold packs are needed. Please inquire about shipping costs prior to bidding. ------------- Payment via PayPal or Venmo accepted.
