Storage of unopened bags of Brine Shrimp Eggs: Unopened bags of Brine Shrimp Eggs should always be stored in your freezer.

How to open bags of Brine Shrimp Eggs: Bags of eggs should be removed from the freezer and allowed to sit at room temperature for two hours or until all condensation has disappeared from the outside of the bag. The bag should now be opened and the amount of eggs needed for 2-3 weeks transferred to a clean, dry re-sealable container. The closed bag should be placed in a one gallon plastic zip lock bag, sealed and then put back in your freezer. The smaller container should also be sealed and placed in your refrigerator. This procedure should be followed every time you need to replenish the small container in your refrigerator. Moisture in the form of humidity causes brine shrimp eggs to absorb very small amounts of water in the form of condensation and this causes big problems with the eggs. Moisture begins the process of hatching but it does not allow the completion of that process, this lowers the hatching rate over time. Proper storage and removal of the bag of the brine shrimp eggs from storage is the key to maintaining high hatch rates.

These Brine Shrimp Eggs are a proud product of the USA, and not from questionable and unregulated Asian sources.
