HATCHING BRINE SHRIMP EGGS (CYST) 100 grams
These are the same high quality brine shrimp eggs that we hatch on a daily basis in our own hatchery. Nothing beats the nutritional value of newly hatched brine shrimp when raising fry or small fish such as guppies or killifish. Purchase includes two 50 gram bags. Each 50 gram resealable bag is heat sealed and stored at controlled temperatures below 40 degrees farenheight to ensure you recieve a fresh bag every time. Our eggs come from reliable suppliers and we guarantee 195,000 baby brine shrimp per gram when hatching.
Hatching Instructions: To hatch your brine shrimp eggs, we recommend mixing 1 cup of sea salt or non-iodized table salt to 1 gallon of water. A clean, rinsed 1 gallon milk container is great for mixing the salt water and storing for future use. Once your salt water is prepared, add it to a container with an air supply to keep the eggs in motion. We do not recommend using an airstone as the small bubbles will cause your brine shrimp eggs to collect above the water level. Instead, simply use an air hose with no air stone. Last, add a small amount of brine shrimp eggs to the water. The amount of eggs will vary depending on how many fish you need to feed. The baby brine shrimp will hatch in 24-36 hours depending on the temperature of the water. The higher the temperature, the faster the hatch. We keep our hatching containers at 80 degrees farenheight which causes most of the eggs to hatch in 24 hours.
