DESCRIPTION: Contains a combination of 7 different nitrifying enzymes in concentrated form which will become activated when mixed with water. This product will set up the nitrification cycle which is crucial in all aquatic environments. This powder gives the user the option of increasing the activity of an already established filter, or reactivating a filter damaged by medications, and of course, the starting up of new systems. Great for undergravel, sponge or outside power filters. Clears green water in both ponds and tanks. Helps prevent disease by improving water quality. This product has shown to be effective on parasitic Golden Algae (Prymnesium Parvum), proven through lab and field testing done by state and government wildlife agencies. FDA approved and a natural product. Packaged in moisture-resistant resealable zip-lock container. DIRECTIONS: One level scoop for every 10 gallons of tank water. 1/8 teaspoonful per 45 gallons of tank water. Treat once per month for best results at maintaining clear water. Aqua Gold can be dosed directly into power filters (add a dose when you clean your filter) or into open tank or pond water. If setting up a new tank, add Aqua Gold and wait at least 24 - 36 hours before adding new fish. Your tank water should be de-chlorinated 24 hours before using Aqua Gold. If using in ponds where the water temperature is below 55F, use a double dose. This dosage should last for 3 - 4 months and is ideal when over wintering a pond. Do not use this product if chemicals or antibiotics are present in the water. Perform a large water change in aquariums where medications have been used before using this product. Turn off ozonators and UV sterilizers for at least 48 hours when using this product. This product is most effective when added to reasonably clean and chemical-free water. If the ammonia level is extremely high in your water, do some partial water changes before using this product. This product is for freshwater use only. CAUTIONS: For aquarium and ornamental fish use only. Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep in a closed container and in a cool dry location.
