Description

Indian Almond Leaves (Terminalia Catappa / Ketapang Leaves) are widely used in the hobby as a natural water conditioner for freshwater aquariums. The tannins found in IAL naturally lowers PH and helps to absorb harmful chemicals, as well as to add trace minerals to the water. Indian almond leaves are also known to have anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties for fish. Use it in any fish tank to help create a naturally decorated habitat - perfect for a blackwater biotope and breeding setup. A great food source for small critters such as dwarf crayfish and shrimp too!
