Description

API Ammonia Test Kit for Freshwater or Saltwater

Fast, accurate and test kit contains two reagents, glass test tube, color chart and clear instructions. Each kit contains enough solution to run 130 ammonia tests; and can measure up to 8 PPM ammonia. Ammonia monitoring is the first line of defense against exposing inhabitants to unnecessary nitrogen waste as well as monitoring the ability of the biological filter to process this waste. As with any natural process imbalances can occur. Testing for the presence of toxic ammonia is essential as the tests can alert you to an issue before the inhabitants are negatively affected. When there is measurable levels of ammonia there is potential to damage delicate gills and lead to reduction in respiration. If exposed to high levels inhabitants can quickly succumb; even low levels of ammonia can cause stress as well as suppressing the immune system which could lead to disease. The API Ammonia Test Kit can measure ammonia in both freshwater and saltwater. Make sure to use the appropriate color chart.

Shipping and Claims

We guarantee delivery to the address given at the time of order. We use your address provided from your payment. Please make sure it is accurate! Should there be any errors in the shipping information all guarantees will be voided.

Should your package not be delivered or arrive in a damaged state, a claim will need to be filed with the carrier to recover the charges for the lost or damaged goods. We can only provide the tracking number the carrier has provided to us. All items arriving in unsatisfactory condition will be replaced so long as the additional shipping and handling charges are paid.

International Shipments may incur additional charges for customs or to cover fees incurred by our carrier. Please contact us for a delivery quote to ensure no unexpected charges appear.

Product Guarantee

All products are guaranteed by either the manufacturer or by us.

For all hardgood and non-perishable items the manufacturer is the guarantor. Information about contacting manufacturer will be included with the packaging.

Should any hardgood or non-perishable item arrive damaged please contact the carrier. We ship primarily through the Postal Service and they guarantee all packages up to $50. If your order is greater than $50 please contact us for a quote on insuring the package, if interested. To file a claim with the carrier, pick up a Claim Form and follow the instructions to request a refund against goods damaged in their hands.

Returns and Refunds

If, after purchase, you no longer interested in this product, it can be returned only if the packaging is intact and unopened. Please contact us to make arrangements. Once we receive the items in the original packaging and contents are in a restockable state, we will refund the purchase price, less all shipping and handling charges plus a 10% restocking fee.
