Caulerpa prolifera is a saltwater macroalgae similar to the freshwater plant 'vallisneria'. This auction is for at least two five inch strands of captive grown caulerpa prolifera. That amount is plenty to start it growing in your aquarium. It's very easy to grow, and yes I do recommend it for beginners. Seahorses would love to wrap their tails around caulerpa. Herbivores would love to eat it. And it is perfect for people looking to increase their population of copepods. My mandarinfish love eating the copepods that breed in the caulerpa prolifera. Shipping: Shipping is $15 and includes a heavy duty styrofoam lined box.
