Description

Caulerpa prolifera is a saltwater macroalgae similar to the freshwater plant 'vallisneria'. This auction is for at least two five inch strands of captive grown caulerpa prolifera. That amount is plenty to start it growing in your aquarium. It's very easy to grow, and yes I do recommend it for beginners.

Seahorses would love to wrap their tails around caulerpa. Herbivores would love to eat it. And it is perfect for people looking to increase their population of copepods.

The video below shows how much my seahorses like the caulerpa prolifera:

The video below shows how copepods thrive in my tank with caulerpa.

My mandarinfish love eating the copepods that breed in the caulerpa prolifera.

Shipping: Shipping is $15 and includes a heavy duty styrofoam lined box. Heat pack may be included if maximum temperature predicted is below 70 F. I ship the first Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday after receiving payment. If you are outside the continental US and want to buy these fish please e-mail me before bidding and I will get you a custom shipping estimate.

Extras: Extras: I can include extras in the box for $5 with no additional shipping. The currently available freshwater plants include: myriophyllum pinnatum, hydrocotyle leucocephala, myriophyllum tuberculatum red, lysimachia nummularia, ricciocarpus natans, etc. The currently available fish include two pairs of half black guppies.
And, as with all my auctions, a starter culture of grindal worms and/or microworms comes free upon request.
