Description

Live Copepod GEA Hybird strain 2000 plus 8oz. Aquacultured Saltwater Copepod Large 1000-1500 microns Tigriopus Californicus species Harpacticoida family . They will be shipped in greenwater with Iso, Rh and Nanno Marine Algae as a food and conditioning source. Picture was taken clear to better view quality and quantity. GEA Strain is not like any other Copepods.GEA Copepods are Aquacultured over 25 years and have been culled over the years to produce the GEA Hybird strain for private applications in Chicago, Michigan, Florida and California. GEA Copepods will survive in temperatures others cannot. Other cultured Copepods will die if water falls below 65 degrees. and still other cultured Copepods die in Temperatures above 85 degrees. GEA Copepods will live in Temperatures above 90 degrees. GEA Copepods will survive in temperatures below 40 and above 90. They will survive in refrigerator and should be kept there if not used or cultured in 2 days, therefore they can be used as needed. The colder refrigerator Tempature will hold more oxygen and retain nutritional value better by slowing down the copepods Metabolism.Adding them directly from refrigerator to tank water has no adverse affect on GEA Hybird Copepod strain.
