Levamisole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic. It has long been recognized as a cure for "live-bearer Disease", while also being very effective against most other �

� �worm and parasitic infections. Live-bearer disease has become very prevalent in the hobby, and is characterized by a dramatic thinning,�

� �even though the fish appears to be eating, to the point where they will waste away and eventually die. �This condition is also sometimes called "wasting disease".

This change in appearance and health, which generally leads to death,�is caused by an external parasite.

Levamisole should also be used in a�quarantine�tank to treat all new fish and plants prior to introducing them to the main aquarium.

Unlike some other suppliers, this medication is packaged in air-tight, sealed mylar bags which can be zip-locked to provide lasting freshness and efficacy.

Treatment has been shown to be very effective when the following directions are followed:

1. Remove all activated carbon from aquarium.

2.�Do a routine 20-30% water change of the tank.

3. Measure 1/4 teaspoon per 100 gallons to be treated (if treating less than 100 gallons divide 1/4 teaspoon accordingly).�

4. Dissolve dosage in 1 cup of aquarium water and add to tank. ��

5. In 24 hours, repeat steps 2-4.
