bioAquatiX Pygmy Water Lily The Pygmy Water Lily (Nymphaea stellata) is a plant native to India and Sri Lanka and is very popular for aquariums. It does best in temperatures from 70°-85° F (22°-30° Celsius). A pH of 5-8 works for this plant but it grows best in softer water closer to a pH of 5. The color of the leaves ranges from brown to red. The young leaves are arrow shaped but broaden to form an almost complete circle when they get larger.
