Description

An absolutely stunning plant when grown submersed. The leaves turn fully red with scarlet and golden bronze veins spreading throughout the leaves under medium-high lights. Higher lighting makes the leaves a deep wine color with more pronounced veins. Under lower lights, the leaves become a dull maroon color with unpronounced veins. A true background beauty for those with medium to high tech tanks. The scarlet snake grows more in a compact vertical form rather than spreading outwards horizontally compared to most swords. Echinodorus scarlet snake is a plant rarely sold in the US and only 2 available. The pictures does not do the plant justice as they are grown emersed and just started to change into submersed form. Smaller size plant also available at $13 each. I do combined shipping and 10% off plants $40 or over. Shipping will be on Monday/Tuesday/Saturday if weather permits.
