Description

Bolbitis Heudelotii 'Kribi' is a rare and wonderful variation on the classic "African water fern". Leaves show a distinct and sharp serration around margins. Beautiful translucent green fern. Super adaptible with a very wide range of parameters, equally suited for warm water and cold water, hi and low light. Rumored as a slow grower, actually grows quite fast with high light and CO2. Under bright light and with supplemental CO2 this plants leaves max out at 10-12 inches, however, under usual aquarium conditions this plant stays around 6-8 inches and spreads by runners creating new ferns. To control height, older leaves can be clipped which encourages lateral sideshows to develop. Equally great in low-light conditions as well as high-tech tanks. Origin: Cameroon, Africa. Again, a rare and easy to care for variety that makes tanks look great. Tie to rocks or branches, best suited as mid ground to background plant. Does not need soil, Do not bury the root. Please contact seller with any questions Shipping this single plant shipping is a flat rate 14$ because of the size of the plant; we encourage you to get a few plants to make the shipping worthwhile. Plants individually wrapped in moist paper and sealed in plastic bags for freshness and humidity, packages insulated to protect from temp swings in shipping.
