Description

Cryptocoryne parva is one of the smallest growing cryptocoryne varieties in the world. Native to Sri Lanka, this excellent aquatic plant can be used as a foreground plant in the aquarium or as a mid-ground plant. Cryptocorynes are typically easy to maintain as aquarium plants and this is no exception. Tolerating a wide range of lighting conditions from low to high it will flourish in the mid-ranges. How to plant your tissue culture plants: Remove plant from packaging Rinse and wash away any gel/liquid Divide plant into 6-8 portions Plant directly into your substrate Each pot has a diameter of 60mm. All tissue culture plants are free from snails, algae and pesticides. The cups can be kept for a relatively long time before planting (sometimes weeks) meaning you can plant when you are ready. Keep in a cool place, sub 20 degrees and out of direct sunlight. Tissue culture plants are young plants with strong roots and are in much better health than their potted versions. Only open cups before planting to avoid contamination. CO2 and good fertilization will promote healthy growth. If buying more than one plant I combine shipping, please check out my other plant items. Shipping by priority mail, $6.50 for eastern states and $7.50 for western states.
