1 Eel grass plant, buy 3 get free shipping! Description Some Eel grass up for grabs here. Very quick grower and will send a shoot out that will sprout a new plant about every 5 inches. Requires Medium lighting;Co2 and/or fertilizer are not needed. Prefers sand but will grow happily in gravel or other planting substrates. This is the fresh water version of this plant as a closely related Eel grass grows in saltwater. Once the grass reaches the top of your aquarium, you can cut it OR let it flow across the top. It will sometimes send up a spiral shoot that will give way to a tiny, delicate white flower. A wide temperature tolerance of 40F to 90F. Transparent leaves with visible veins. I have 3 available.
