Description

Bolbitis heudelotii portion This plant is similar to Java Fern, but the leaves typically have three lobes instead of the spear like leaves of Java Fern. Undemanding and easy to maintain, does well in low light and is an excellent choice for low tech tanks. Should be placed on rocks or driftwood with the rhizome above the substrate. Grows best with some water current in soft, slightly acidic water. The plant can span 6-8 inches (15-25 cm) wide and each leaf as tall as 6-16 inches (14-40). In lower lighting conditions, the leaves will have slower growth, and become a dark green. In higher light and carbon dioxide injected conditions, the leaves will develop into a translucent vibrant green. It does well in both non fertilized or fertilized conditions, and in slightly softer water conditions. You will receive one(1) small portion of plant.
