You are bidding on 5 adult specimens of Cryptocoryne wendtii 'mi oya.' S/H is $6. This variety came from the Mi Oya river in Sri Lanka. They have a crinkly, or 'hammered' leaf surface compared to others of this species. They thrive in lower light with a dark, olive coloration on the tops, a dull reddish hue underneath. In brighter light, the undersides of its leaves become a striking dark red. While crypts are popular as low light plants, it can manage well in bright tanks, up to maybe 2 hours of direct sunlight per day, in my experience. They make small flowers but breed by sending out runners under the sediment. Also, all crypts benefit from a relatively rich substrate. Mine perk up noticeably when they get Seachem Flourish tabs.
