You are bidding on 10 adult specimens of Italian val, which I believe is Vallisneria spiralis. S/H is $6 for a foam lined box. There seem to be several 'val' species with little agreement on scientific vs. common names. I had some that were too big, then some too small. These are just right for my tank with leaves 6 to 10 mm wide, 45-60 cm long. Vallisneria prefer neutral to alkaline water and tend to give mediocre results in acidic water. Good light and CO2 will give you lots of oxygen bubbles streaming up from the leaves. Some trivia - Wikipedia says this species was named for the famous botanist Antonio Vallisneri, and its description attributed to Erasmus Darwin, grandfather to(and much more interesting character than) *Charles* Darwin, yes THAT Darwin.
