You are bidding on a big specimen of Cryptocoryne wendtii. When I bought its ancestors, the little label said it was the 'mi oya' variety, named after the Mi Oya river in Ceylon where it was first collected. S/H is $6. This large-ish specimen will have 12+ leaves, 6-8" long. Typically, when I pull up one of these big ones, they can be split into 5+ smaller plants and spread out to fill up a pretty big footprint of your foreground. While crypts are known for being shade tolerant, these have dark olive leaves and the brightest contrasting violet undersides when given some brighter light and CO2. Also, all crypts seem to have a strong preference for richer substrate fertilization. All those extensive roots (by aquatic standards) are there for good reason. Also, I have plenty to spare. If you win the auction and would like more, we can work out something reasonable and I will squeeze more into the box.
