Description

Hi, my name's Erica, and I've got 10 stems of Elodea densa here for sale. This is a great plant, folks. It grows easily and beautifully in most any water conditions. The tank that it's currently in is pH 8.3 and about 6 degrees GH.

This Elodea densa didn't grow with CO2 injection or any special fertilizers. I just have it in mixed kitty litter and gravel substrate and under some full spectrum lights, and it grows like crazy! This plant will grow an inch a day, super fast, super green in color. It's a great plant, very hardy, and easy to grow even for people who've never had plants before.

Elodea densa grows super well if you've got some sort of non-gravel, non-sand substrate for it to dig into (a bag of baked clay sold as non-clumping kitty litter is a cheap substrate). This plant will get lots of roots.

Or, for those of you with gravel substrates, you can propagate it by cutting the top five inches off of a healthy stem. Plant it in your substrate and it'll grow, and the part that you cut it off of will bud a new head.

Very easy plant. Very beautiful plant. Bright green in color (no, I did not photoshop the image in this auction at all. That's really how green it is!). The stems shown in the picture are the exact plant that you're receiving.

Shipping is via USPS priority mail and costs $7. You will receive a tracking number so you can check the progress of your order.
