Description

This will be your DREAM aquarium plant: unbelievably easy to grow, yet with great beauty!�

Water Sprite(Ceratopteris thalictroides, a.k.a. Water Fern / Indian Fern) is a wonderful plant to use as a mid-ground plant, or as a floating plant. The delicate,lacy leaves are very decorative and provide good contrast to other leaf shapes, and make great cover for fry to hide among.�

The Water Sprite makes a great starter plant for the aquarist new to plant keeping. It will grow profusely under correct condition and thus is excellent at removing excessive nutrients - which suppresses green algae growth and keeps the water crystal clear. New leaves unfurl from the base into lacy fronds and then slowly die off over a fortnight, then new plants form off the dying leaves. It makes a beautiful addition to you tank and your fish will absolutely adore it and linger in the leaves!

Be advised that it tends to overshadow your smaller plants so be sure to not put it anywhere you need strong light for plants it will cover.

This sale is for 1 plant, with leaves of�at least�3�inches long (medium and large size plants available at my other auctions). The picture shows the actual plants in my aquarium actively photosynthesizing.
