Large handful of Frogbit Floating Pond Plant

Frogbit Limnobium spongia. You will receive many plants as per the photo on the left. Your pond water needs to be at least 65* or higher with no cold or frosty nights. Can be grown in an aquarium too!

Tiny white flowers in July and August that are not very significant. Frog bit is a miniature floating plant with shiny green foliage that is 3/4 to 1 inch across. It is said to kind of look like the chin of a frog in the water, thus the name. Frogbit is a fast grower and works great if you need coverage in a short period of time.

It is hardy zone 6 or higher
These plants float on the top of the water and do not need to be planted. They are by far the easiest of all pond - aquatic plants to grow.
