Shipped free with USPS First Class Package. Hello everyone! Offering a hand- tied clump of Java on a Lava! Just plop in your tank, and you'll have a mess of Java moss in no time! These are drifting, low light, and easy care plants. I love them in mine as they are great at sheltering fry and baby shrimplets, plus they do some serious heavy-lifting at biological filtration! This order is for one clump of Java Moss, securely attached to a Lava rock for stability. These will vary in their natural states, but will be about the size of a ping-pong ball, 2" or so. The Java moss is already pretty established and is "stuck' to the rock. You'll be able to remove the thread if you so wish. I usually use clear sewing thread, so you may not even notice it :) Java moss is a super plant all around. It requires very little in the way of light, temperature, or ferts. You will notice faster growth in a higher- maintenance aquarium, of course, but it isn't necessary. This is an excellent starter plant for freshwater aquariums. I grow mine completely submerged in community tanks, with minimal fertilizer and average light/ room temperatures. I do have snails in tanks, but no duckweed! If you'd absolutely rather not have snail hitchhikers, definitely look up how to do a bleach dip. These are harvested and packed right before shipment. You'll receive yours heat sealed in a plastic baggie and burrito- wrapped in paper. This is industry standard practice to get these to you in a quality manner. I'm very careful, and I use methods that have consistently gotten the best results over years. Lot of love going into this hobby. Please don't leave them exposed in a mailbox🙏 DUE TO COVID and weather, USPS delivery estimates have rather dilated. Re: your feedback, we will be shipping twice a week on Mondays/ Fridays to give your order the best chance of making to you before the weekend :) Please be sure your address is correct! Thank you for looking, aqua friends!
