Description

I purchased some shrimp from Hong Kong a while ago and this moss came in the bag. I am unable to identify it but by looking at pics it might be any of these listed: Peacock moss, Spiky moss, Taiwan moss or Singapore moss. If I had to take an educated guess it's most likely spiky moss but I cannot guarantee it. I have many mosses and this is by far my favorite one....grows really well and is easier than Christmas Moss. Grows best if it's untouched since it grows in layers. You will receive a portion that has been transplanted and attached to a 2 inch by 4 inch screen (the moss is bigger since it grows off the screen). You can drop the screen anywhere in your tank since it will sink and you do not have to worry about it floating away. I am currently growing it in my CO2 tank with fertilizers but you can grow it in a regular tank without a dosing regiment. I do not have algae but I do have snails. The moss is extremely healthy.
