Description

Riccia fluitans 'DWARF' is a popular livewort in the aquascape hobby.

Although it can grow floating, it looks best when tied to rock/driftwood with fishing line or hairnet. This is a very easy plant in that it only needs moderate to high light to prosper. Other than that, it can tolerate a wide range of conditions.

When the condition is good, Riccia will soon cover the object and creates a nice carpet. If CO2 is injected coupled with high light, you will see a sea of silver oxygen bubbles!

Riccia fluitans 'DWARF' has the most delicate and more attractive leaf structure (hence its name) as compared with the regular Riccia fluitans. It also grows more slowly.

The sale is for a patch of 2''x 2''.
