This auction is for a floating plant combo. You will get one water hyacinth plant, 15-20 Amazon Frogbit plants, and around 50+ Purple fringed Riccia plants. Shipping for this auction is is $15.00, shipping will increase with combined auctions. I do NOT accept payments through paypal, I will send you an invoice from my website, www.rosaquatics.com. All three of these plants floating in a tank or pond are beautiful all together, the roots give an awesome look to an aquarium, and the greenary gives a very pleasant look to an outdoor pond.water hyacinth is a floating plant. Most pond keepers use it as a way to control nutrients in their ponds and tubs. The plant adds shade cover for their ponds. The roots are great for spawning egg laying fish. Ricciocarpus natans is a unique and fairly rare floating aquarium plant, also known as Purple-Fringed Riccia because of its purple root-like structures which hang from underneath this plant. Amazon frogbit is a great plant to use to extend time between water changes. in order to use this plant to export nutrients out of the water column, trim roots once they get over 8-10 inches long and then place plant back into the aquarium. you can trim the roots over and over again, it wont hurt the plant.
