SPECIES SPOTLIGHT
Native to Asia and is the world's only floating grass. In Asia it�s commonly used in decorative water garden pots, with fish such as medaka.

Pros:
It�s an interesting plant that is an attention getter. Attractive from above & below. When kept indoors(artificial light), if regularly fertilized & given plenty of light, it's an easy plant. Grows fast. The roots are fern-like and grow in tufts at the segments - making for a nice display.

Cons: Heavy current is hard on the plant and easily submerges it. Without good light & fertilizers it gets stringy.
