Guppy Grass, also known as Najas grass, is a fast-growing, lush, hardy plant that can be rooted or floated.� Guppy Grass received it's name by providing baby guppies with plenty of hiding places after birth.

Removes heavy metals, toxins, ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites from the water while producing oxygen.� Promotes aquarium health & wellness.� Consumes almost every free nutrient in the tank, giving little opportunity for algae growth.

Shrimp love clinging to its nooks and crannies to pick-off food and to hide within.� Most small fish will also use it as a spawning mop, such as celestial pearl danios, and rainbowfish.� It provides cover for the newly hatched fry and gives them a continuous source of microscopic food, such as infusoria.

Guppy Grass is especially useful if you plan on breeding live-bearing fish, eggs scatterers, or shrimp.� Other than in a breeding set up, it may be helpful in a pond setup.� Although it doesn�t over-winter as well as hornwort.

It is also incredibly useful in fry grow-out tanks as it grows fast enough to keep up with the bioload.� Guppy Grass is also an exceptional plant for beginners.� It can help absorb any water change mistakes they may make � like overlooking tap-water conditioner, forgetting a water change, or overstocking.

The only problem with Guppy Grass is that it will eventually overrun your tank if left unchecked.� If this isn�t an issue for you, then you�ll have no problem.

PORTION� SIZE

��This is a generous portion of Guppy Grass because the container I use to measure the grass is 4" high by 3" wide.� This is the same cup that they sell Beta's in at pet stores.� It measures 2 to 3 cups (16 � 24oz) so you will get a good-sized amount � read my reviews.

Your Guppy Grass it will be in a breather bag, damp and flat.� Put it in your tank and it will expand and you will be amazed at how much Guppy Grass there really is.
