The planted tank forum http://www.plantedtank.net and Wikipedia's List of freshwater aquarium plant species include Limnobium laevigatum or Amazon Frogbit on lists of recommended ornamental plants for aquascapes. It is an attractive floating plant with bright green, quarter-sized, heart-shaped leaves. Its roots grow long and flowing like jellyfish tentacles. It's also a great nitrate exporter and will grow quickly in your tanks and remove harmful nitrogenous compounds from the water. You are bidding on one sandwich bag full of frogbit. I will stuff it rather good. More is available for the winning bidder. I ship in a padded envelope and with some air in the bag to protect the plant. However it may arrive slightly damaged, do not be worried, this plant is easily revived, I received this plant originally as a similar bag of slightly sad looking plants, but put the plants in water and remove any dead leaves and they will quickly recover and grow new, healthy leaves. Let me know of any problems and I will probably reship it for you, depending. Shipping is $7 for flat rate priority, but could be less if sent parcel. Contact me to calculate shipping. Payment is through paypal. Disclaimer: some hair algae, duckweed, and/ or ramshorn snail eggs could be included. I try to remove any eggs that I see.
