� FLOATING WATER LETTUCE Receive 4 Floating Water Lettuce Plants The image above is a water lettuce at full mature size Receive Four 4"-5" wide size Floating Water Lettuce Plants with roots about 3" inches long.� Many are already blooming.� Water Lettuce is a floating pond plant that produces tiny white flowers. It floats on the surface and oxygenates and clarifies the water below. Its roots hang down and naturally filter debris. Water Lettuce is also an excellent plant for spawning fish. For over-growth, toss excess plants in the mulch pile for the best fish emulsion compost. Flowers:�� Tiny fuzzy flowers that bloom all spring and summer long. � See image below Important Note Please keep in mind that water lettuce often sheds its roots when shipped.� This is perfectly normal and the roots will grow back.� Place plants in a clean plastic bucket of water in part sun until the water lettuce recovers from shipping. Growing Instructions Full to Part Sun.� Growing Zone 9.� Grows best in still, non-moving, shallow water so the roots can absorb nutrients from the fish emulsion and soil below.
