Ceratophyllum submersum (Tropical Hornwort)
This listing is for ONE foot length of Ceratophyllum submersum (Tropical Hornwort) with several more available at the winning bid.
Ceratophyllum submersum (Tropical Hornwort) is a true floating plant that does not root. It is a great plant to use for fry cover. From my experience, herbivorous fish will not eat this plant. This plant is different from most Hornwort listings you will find as this is the TROPICAL version of this plant. Most Hornwort listings sell Ceratophyllum demersum, or "coon's-tail". The needles on the submersum plant are much finer/softer than on the demersum. This plant does well in a 'cold water' tank (goldfish, etc), but does need heat to survive cold shipping temperatures and wouldn't survive in a pond over winter.
Priority shipping is based on your zip code for a 2# package. A heat pack ($2 extra) will be added if you need one. Please let me know how many feet of this plant you want and I will send you an invoice through Paypal.
Any questions, please ask before bidding and Thanks for looking! This plant may contain snails or snail eggs.
