Description

This plant has been really fascinating to watch in the aquarium. Looking like nothing more than a mass of very thing green spaghetti that fry seem to love to hide in. If you look close, you will see tiny "bladders" which are actually traps for daphnia and other tiny crustaceans. They do not need to be fed, as like most plants they also photosynthesize! The traps are so tiny that I cannot imagine them being a problem for fry. I do not know which species this is, but this Utricularia has been been easy to maintain in my tanks. I will send a portion which measures about 6" X 6" and is 1-2" thick while floating in the water. It will be smaller than that when it is removed from the water for shipping but will return to those dimensions, or more, when you replace it in water. Shipping is $5.00 by USPS priority mail.
