Amazon Frogbit is a wonderful floating plant for any variety of tanks. I use it in all my shrimp tanks and livebearer tanks. It grows in a small cluster of thick waxy green leaves with long, flowing roots. Shrimp and fish both like these plants for a sense of protection and a source of shade.
Amazon frog bit will grow very quickly in a high light aquarium, but will also do well in low light tanks too. It propagates by sending out runners, which form their own small cluster of leaves and eventually break off to form an individual plant.
For sale is one 20" x 10" section, which covers the entire surface of a standard ten gallon tank!. Within weeks the plant will cover the entire tank given proper light.
All pictures are my own and are the actual plants you will receive. USPS 2-3 priority shipping is $6.
