Description

Large bunch of HORNWORT (CERATOPHYLLYM DEMERSUM) grown in my own tanks. The plant is one of the best plants to oxygenate the aquarium or the pond. They are about 8-10 inches tall. You can float them on the surface (see uppper left of picture) or placed into the gravel they will send out roots. They do need a good light source or sunlight to thrive. It is wonderful for using up excess fertilizer created by the fish. It greatly decreases the amount of algae in the pond by both providing cover and using up waste products that contribute to algae growth. Priority Mail shipping starts at $7.99.
