When I say BIG scoop, I mean over a square foot of surface coverage! Salvinia is sometimes called the floating water fern. It is extremely hardy and fast growing, only requiring decent light. Because it is fast growing, it makes an excellent nutrient sump to help control algae. Of course surface cover is always appreciated by all kinds of fry and bettas and shade lovers like discus.
