SNE JAVA FERN KING
I have always said the perfect aquarium plant was Anubias, but I think Java Ferns run a tight race.
Java ferns can probably go in more tanks and conditions than anubias can.
Java ferns have a natural chemical in them that TASTES NASTY to fish, thus detering them from trying to eat it.
Java ferns are low light and easy to grow and have a unqiue root system that allows them to attach to hard surfaces such as rocks or driftwood, EVEN crap as smooth as slate!
Now when I think of regular Java Ferns and what I see being "offered" by some, I think of these little sprigs that are about 3" tall. Doesn't hardly seem worth the postage.
The ones I typically deal with are usually twice that size and sometimes average 8" tall. They typically look like this.
Pretty basic and pretty simple. Now I would normally sell those for around $2-3 each and sell them all day because I have seen them for as high as $7 each in a LFS.
BUT THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE BIDDING ON
Man, this is SNE NIGHT and time to PARTY. I am not going to show up with basic crap on SNE, especially since I have not been here in over a year.
No, I am going to bring AWESOME CRAP to the party.
This is what they call a Java Fern Mat. It is about 20-30 of those in the first picture woven on a coconut shell. The mat is usually around 3"x5" and as you can see FULL OF LEAVES.
What is cool about this it, a lot of guys simply drop it in bare bottom fry tanks or whatever they are working with that could use the aid of a live plant.
YOU however can do with it what you like.
This auction is for ONE Java Fern Mat
I am starting the bidding out at $1 with no BS fees at the END
