Description

I am offering a package of TWO types of Floating Water Fern to help keep your tank looking beautiful and interesting. No little starters packages here. First off, you'll receive a generous cupful of Salvinia Minima...I'd imagine at least 100 plants (not just leaves!) of this gorgeous floater. Probably enough to cover a 5 gallon tank. Check out the lime green glow of the roots when viewing the tank from below. They also look very nice from above. See the pics.

In addition, you'll also receive a cupful of Giant Water Fern (Salvinia Oblongifolia). These things are HUGE...just look at the size difference between the Giant Water Fern (Salvinia Oblongifolia) in the bottom of the picture in comparison with the normal Water Fern (Salvinia Minima) in the top of the picture!!! And no, that is not duckweed, it's salvinia minima and anyone who's seen that stuff can imagine how big the Giant Water Fern is.

Besides making your tank look more natural and beautiful, these floaters will actually help keep your water super clean. They do an amazing job of soaking up excess nutrients such as nitrates which would otherwise be harmful and they impede the growth of algae by outcompeting them for nutrients. It's also a great place for your fry or shrimplet to hide and forage for infusoria/food...and a fantastic way to comfort shy or light sensitive species such as plecos or discus.

$6.99 shipping anywhere within the Continental US only. I will not include a heatpack so please watch your weather. NOTE: I will not ship salvinia to Texas or N. Carolina as it is prohibited in those areas.
