Description

Bright green, healthy mops of coon-tail hornwort. Collected from City Park, New Orleans. The plants and cleaned and cool. Shipping included if domestic. USPS Priority. I ship on Mondays and Tuesday. Neutral or slightly basic pH for these plants. They make take root if encourages but do best as floaters and plants that are bent to the tank contours to just take up space. All critters seem to appreciate, from crayfish to live food (loves to hide in the blooms), to fish that need or like the dimentionality. They do well in all kinds of light but the more like the greener. Note: the plants will shed if subjected to high energy current. They will also shed if you add medications that kill fungus. Otherwise, they'll clone, grow and shelter your animals and look green and lovely doing it. One last note, I have to package in a lot of water. I wrap them up in butcher paper or similar to keep them from breaking on each other but they need to stay wet. They dry out quickly.
