Description

Ammania sp. 'Bonsai' is quite similar looking to Bacopa Caroliniana, except it's slightly smaller more compact growing version. Under high light the tips of the stem might turn red/orange. The leaves are often smaller under higher light too, lower light produces larger leaves. Best planted in small groups. Trimmings can be re-planted to create a bushy group. A great stem plant for nano/small aquariums, or those with larger aquariums wanting to acheive a sense of scale. How to plant your tissue culture plants: Remove plant from packaging Rinse and wash away any gel/liquid Divide plant into 6-8 portions Plant directly into your substrate Each pot has a diameter of 60mm. All tissue culture plants are free from snails, algae and pesticides. The cups can be kept for a relatively long time before planting (sometimes weeks) meaning you can plant when you are ready. Keep in a cool place, sub 20 degrees and out of direct sunlight. Tissue culture plants are young plants with strong roots and are in much better health than their potted versions. Only open cups before planting to avoid contamination. CO2 and good fertilization will promote healthy growth. If buying more than one plant I combine shipping, please check out my other plant items. Shipping will be by USPS priority mail 1-4 days. I charge a flat $6.50 for shipping to eastern states and $7.40 for western states no matter how many plants you order.
