Up for grabs is one (1) bunch of Ludwigia palustris (Swamp Ludwigia). This bunch contains approximately 8 stems and has been grown emersed. Additional bunches can be purchased at the same price.
L. palustris is a highly adaptable true aquatic plant with a number of applications in the aquarium. In bright lighting, it picks up lovely red to red-orange coloration, but it only needs moderate light to survive (it will show more green in those conditions). Leaves are slightly narrower than L. repens but typically broader than L. repens x arcuata.
Shipping will be $6 via USPS Priority. This item can be combined with any of my other auctions (except for grab bags) to save on shipping costs. Will ship to the U.S. only, no international inquiries please. Packages are shipped on Monday of each week, so long as I receive payment by the night prior. Live arrival guaranteed, please email me pics within 3 hours of arrival - that said, I've sent plants all over the country in all kinds of weather, and DOAs are rare if you unpack the plants promptly on arrival (so don't leave them out in your mailbox all afternoon!).
Shown below is a mother patch of L. palustris in my garden. Your bunch(es) will be trimmed from a patch like this one.
