Description

You are bidding on 25 cuttings, ~4-6 inches long of Rotala rotundifolia, aka indica, grown in my own aquarium. S/h is $6 but can be waived if you live in the Denver area and come by with cash and your own container. I use a foam lined box so the plants do not get a chill. This is a happy, versatile little species, well suited to mid-ground planting in larger tanks or the back of shorter tanks. It is not picky, but in mediocre light, you get more green than red coloring. More from Tropica.com - The Latin Rotundifolia means 'round leaves'. But this only applies to the emersed marsh variety, which has circular leaves. In aquariums Rotala rotundifolia has long, thin leaves. Unlike other Rotala species it is relatively undemanding. While it is thought of as a slow grower, its stems are so small that they can 'muscle' their way into other plants' turf if conditions are good.

I will be away for the weekend, but the plants should be in the mail Tuesday morning if payment is received.
