Beginners should not try this plant. But COLLECTORS, you will love this awesome plant!

Egleria fluctuans is still a VERY VERY RARE yet elegant plant. We just obtained this plant from Japan recently. It is a very unqiue plant with its reddish brown stem and thin delicate green leaves.

To successfully grow this plant, you need to provide medium-strong lighting and CO2 injection. Since it comes from Amazon rainforest area, it needs soft and acidic water (i.e., Reverse Osmosis water or rain water if your local water hardness is high).

It is a floating plant that can also take root in the substrate. To propagate, simply top the stems and replant the tops next to the bottoms.
