Beginners should not try this plant. But COLLECTORS, you will love this awesome plant!

Ludwigia inclinata is a delicate softwater plant with orange-red colored leaves.

However, it is not an easy plant: it requires relatively intense light levels (3+ watt per gallon) and CO2 injection, otherwise it may turn greenish and lose its lower leaves.

But once the basic requirement is met, it will grow very fast! To make it look bushy, you need to remove the tops regularly and leave the bottom portion and the toppings can be replanted.

It looks best when contrasted with a background of other light green plants, such as Myriophyllum mattogrossense.
