This auction is for 1/2 pound of Ricciocarpus natans, also known as Purple-Fringed Riccia, a unique and fairly rare floating aquarium plant. We can NOT combine shipping for this auction with any of our other auctions. Shipping will be anywhere between $18 to $25 depending on your location and the distance the package is traveling. Please send us your zip code to get a shipping quote. We grow this plant, along with many others, outdoors every year, and at the end of the year we have to destroy it, and throw a lot of it away. We are offering this plant to our customers for basically free, all you have to pay is the shipping. We really hate to see such a beautiful plant go to waste. Goldfish also love to eat it, plus it over winters as well, a great plant to use in outdoor ponds and water features. I use this plant to help absorb nutrients in my aquariums, saving me time between water changes. This auction is a great opportunity to buy plants wholesale and split the order into smaller parts for resale. Ricciocarpus natans is a unique and fairly rare floating aquarium plant, also known as Purple-Fringed Riccia because of its purple root-like structures which hang from underneath this plant. The floating part of this plant is fan shaped and glossy. It is a bright green color and if under high lighting, the 'roots' will turn purple in color. If grown in low lighting, the roots will not be purple.
