Description

WYSIWYG Low Light Rare Easy Plant Package 8 species. You are bidding on the plants in the photograph, What you see is what you get ;) Featured here are a variety of easy-to-care-for, low light, low maintenance plants for a low tech approach to beautiful aquascaping. All plants included thrive in a wide array of conditions from cold to warm water, hi and low light and a range of PH and hardness. Plants are as follow: Microsorum pteropus mini trident (stays about 5 beautiful filigrees forking structure) fairly rare fern and quite beautiful. Best tied to wood or rock, do not bury the rhizome. microsorum pteropus needle leaves under low light conditions stays around 6-8 inches but easily pushes 12-14 in high-tech tanks. Leaves stay very slender as they grow long by comparison to normal java fern, staying 1-1.5 cm wide. Best tied to wood or rock, do not bury the rhizome. Bolbitis Heudelotii African Water Fern beautiful transluscent dark green leaves, stays 7-8 inches low light, up to 12-14 in high tech setups. Best placed in brightest area of tank. Best tied to wood or rock, do not bury the rhizome. Looks great once it fills in. Lomariopsis sp. Subwassertang aka freshwater seaweed. Bulletproof, cant really kill this plant as long as you wave water and enough light to read by. This is likely the most rare plant in the package. Excellent plant for beginners, does great in low light conditions where it retains the growth form pictured. Under high light and CO2 the plant assumes a more rounded, thick appearance. Actually an aquatic fern gametophyte, sinking plant forms think jelly masses when left as carpet, attaches well to rock and wood as well Vesicularia sp Mini Christmas Moss. A small fuzzy tightly brachiating moss that looks great tied to wood. Bright green, My favorite vesicularia forms tightest branches in high light, but very well adapted to low light too. Not that hard to find but often very expensive. Taxiphyllum sp. spiky another great low light moss, similar to java moss but with a more upward and outward growth habit. Best tied to stones or wood. Anubias nana and lanceolata. While not rare by comparison to the other species. I chose to include an anubias nana and anubias lanceolta for their ability to compliment the ferns and as many of you know, they are bullet-proof yet elegant low light plants. Shipping: Shipping This Multiple plant purchases is a flat rate 14$ via medium sized ups box. so we encourage you to get a few plants to make the shipping worthwhile. All packages insulated to keep plants from temp swings in shipping.
