Hello everyone, up for auction is a variety of mostly floating plants! This would be a great starter package for a new tank or a nice addition to your existing tanks. Winner of this auction will get:
- 10 Amazon Frogbit Plants
- 5 Dwarf Water Lettuce
- Handful of Guppy Grass
- Handful of Salvinia natans.
- 5 Stems of Hornwort(Ceratophyllum demursum)(4-5in. long)
- 5 Stems of Golden Iloydiella(Lysimachia nummularia)(4-5in. Long)
- 3 Stems of Anacharis(4-5in. Long)
Amazon Frogbit, Dwarf Water Lettuce, and Salvinia natans are fast growing floaters that vary in leaf structure and size to give you a nice assortment of floating aquarium plants. These three have varying leaf and root structure. The Amazon frogbit has the longest roots and the Salvinia natans has the shortest when grown in low light. Not only are the roots of these plants a good place for shrimp and fish fry to hide, they are also a great treat for goldfish, koi and other plant eating fish.
The guppy grass and hornwort are great floaters for fish fry, shrimp and small fish and they grow pretty fast. The Guppy grass can be rooted.
The Golden Iloydiella is an attractive stem plant that can grow in low light tanks, but grows its best in medium to high light set ups. If the stems do not have roots they will quickly grow them. It's lighter green-yellow coloration contrasts well with darker colored stem plants. It does not reqiure CO2 to grow.
Anacharis is one of the easiest stem plants to care for as it will grow in most conditions. Its growth is increased in high light set ups but it will still live in lower light tanks. It is a great plant for the shaded areas of a tank or pond.
All of these plants will come from my aquariums, with many coming from my shrimp tank so some small snails may tag along.
Shipping is Free to you. I ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and only after payment has been complete.
Payment can be sent to moviegalaxy638@yahoo.com through PayPal, or I can send you a PayPal invoice if you prefer one.
